This is amplified even more by the diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating the blade wears. In addition to providing another layer of protection for the material, it also has the same coefficient of friction as Teflon, providing you a much smoother and easier shaving experience and reducing buildup of hair, dead skin, and shaving cream.
